The County Council affirmed their commitment Tuesday evening to give their full support and immediate attention to a 2017 focus area for community goals – build the local tourism economy – with their acceptance of a contract with Design Workshop to create a new Tourism Strategic Plan. They are looking for representatives from Los Alamos or White Rock who are interested in serving on a steering committee.

On April 13, 2017 the County opened a brief survey on Open Forum requesting information regarding residents’ bicycle use. The information obtained from the survey will be instrumental in helping to further shape the Bicycle Transportation Plan. The public comment period closes May 8, 2017.
