Any owner or authorized contractor who intends to construct,enlarge, alter, or repair a building or structure shall first make application to the building official and obtain the required permit. Los Alamos County requires the permit, once issued, to be posted on the project site before work begins. The county-issued permit must be visible from the public roadway.
Use this checklist to assure that all necessary forms and information are complete and included in your application prior to submitting the application for review.
If any of these items are missing from your application, the application will not be accepted.
