TLC Plumbing & Utility is working Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (weather permitting)
Parking:
Parking will continue at designated areas south of Ace Hardware and south of the Los Alamos Fire Training Academy. Parking will remain open during construction unless otherwise signed.
Traffic Control:
Follow all work zone signs and exercise caution; flaggers may direct traffic during certain construction events.
Access to businesses will be maintained.
Construction Operations:
Crews will be performing utility tie in at individual businesses to the north side of DP Road. Coordination with businesses will continue for any temporary disruptions to utility services by TLC and Department of Public Utilities.
Crews will be performing earthwork activities including cutting grade on DP road on the Eastbound lane from LA Crossfit to LA Fire Training Academy. This will include working of the roadbed to perform subgrade prep and installation of base course progressing in approximately 500 ft sections.
Crews will also be excavating and begin installing storm drain on the west end of the project near LA Fire Training Academy working east. This will include excavation for new storm drain inlets. Much of this work will occur south of DP road near detour and relocated utilities.
