The scope of work includes improvements to address deferred maintenance of greens, tees, and bunkers for Holes 1 through 6 and 9 through 18; Realignment or reversal of Holes 7 and 8 to address safety. Cart path improvements that includes a green to tee, hard surface cart path system; Driving Range Practice Area improvements that include improved tee configuration, ground surface, target greens, landscaping, and short game area consisting of new bunker(s) and practice putting green; Addition of two new restrooms; Tree mitigation strategies that meet or exceed the County’s 2023 Tree Preservation and Mitigation Policy; and Construction administration services for all the above for use during the course of project construction.

This project is slated for construction for fall 2023 to winter 2024.

This project supports two of Council's Strategic Goals; investing in infrastructure and enhancing communication. This project provides maintenance and improvements to existing infrastructure. The enhancement of communication strategic goal is being accomplished by engaging the public and coordinating citizen involvement and feedback as a key part of the project development process.

 

Work has begun at the Golf Course on holes 5,6,7 and 8. Tee boxes on the front nine have been stripped. Driving range tees has been demoed. Beginning in April, crews will move to the back nine to continue operations.
