Renovation of Bomber, Dara Jones and Hope Athletic Fields

Scope of the Project 

Los Alamos County awarded IFB/24-36 to LA Landscaping and More for renovation of three (3) athletic fields; Dara Jones, Hope Field and Bomber Field. These are natural grass fields that are used for softball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, rugby and other field sports.  The fields have reached an age where the need to grade and recondition the dirt areas, re-turf and adjust the irrigation to extend the life of the fields and provide a safe sporting environment. 

Status & Timeline

April 25, 2024 - IFB/24-36 awarded to LA Landscape and More

May 24, 2024 - News Article: Renovation of Dara Jones, Hope and Bomber Athletic Field 

Project will require field closure from May 28 - August 31 (substantial completion by August 31). 

Final completion September 30, 2024.
