Vice Chair: Re-elected as vice chair at the January 9, 2024 council meeting

Bio:  Theresa Cull was elected to County Council in the November 2022 general election. She retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2020 after 37 years in environment, safety, health, and facilities support and management. She holds a B.S. in Safety Engineering from Texas A&M University and a MBA from UNM’s Anderson School of Management.
Born in New York and raised in Pennsylvania and Texas, Theresa made her way to Los Alamos in 1983 after college graduation. She lived in La Puebla for about 10 years, but has resided in Los Alamos since 1994 where she and her partner raised two children and have been active members of the community.
Theresa has served on the Boards of Directors of the Unitarian Church, Sage Cottage Preschool, and PFLAG (Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays). She has coached youth sports, served as a youth advisor, and travelled to Mexico to build houses over spring break.
As a County Councilor, Theresa plans to use her work and volunteer experience to continue to support the diversity of concerns and needs in the community.
