Los Alamos County, in coordination with its East Downtown Los Alamos MRA project partners, has partnered with consulting firm Groundwork Studio to create a survey for the East Downtown Los Alamos Metropolitan Redevelopment Area Plan. Los Alamos County invites the local and regional community to take part in a survey regarding the plan.

The seven question survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete, and will be available until 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024. The public is encouraged to participate and take the survey. The community’s input is invaluable and appreciated.

This survey is the first step in creating the East Downtown Los Alamos Metropolitan Redevelopment Area (MRA) Plan. The MRA Plan aims to address issues such as vacant properties, low commercial activity, and deteriorating infrastructure. It will identify community-supported projects, programs, and policies to revitalize the designated area in downtown Los Alamos. The plan adheres to the New Mexico Metropolitan Redevelopment Code, which enables cities and counties to overcome development barriers through public-private partnerships.
