Could the Barranca water tank win big?

Engineering staff at the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) just learned that the fresh paint on the Barranca water tank put it in the running for Tank of the Year! With enough local community votes, it just might be featured in a calendar.

Tnemic Company, the manufacturer of the paint used on the water tank, prints a calendar of its favorite tanks every year. Eleven tanks are chosen by Tnemec and one is chosen by votes as the People’s Choice tank. All 12 will be eligible for Tank of the Year.
