County Clerk’s Office Announces Winner of Sticker Design Contest

The Los Alamos County Clerk’s Office was thrilled to announce the winners of our recent Sticker Design Contest, a creative initiative aimed at engaging our community and showcasing local artistic talent.

We received an overwhelming number of entries from passionate youth designers, and we are excited to reveal the top three winners whose designs stood out for their creativity, originality, and alignment with our contest parameters.

 

“I Voted” Winners:       

1st Place - Sophia Saunders

2nd Place- Eliana Michel

3rd Place- Olivia Conner Lee

 

“I Voted Early” Winners:

1st Place - Abbie Johnson
2nd Place - Eliana Michel

3rd Place - Siena

 

“Future Voter” Winners:

1st Place - Aubrey Rushton
2nd Place - Olivia Conner Lee

3rd Place - Brooke Smidt

 

The winning designs will be featured on exclusive stickers available at polling locations countywide, and the winners were awarded gift cards to local businesses during the September 24, 2024 County Council Meeting. Additionally, their designs will be showcased on our website and social media platforms to celebrate their incredible talent and contribution.

“We are incredibly proud of the exceptional talent and creativity showcased by all the students in this contest,” said Los Alamos County Clerk Naomi Maestas. “Their work not only reflects artistic skill but also a deep commitment to civic engagement and the upcoming election. Selecting the winners was no easy task for our group, as each design beautifully captured the spirit and essence of our community. We are excited and inspired by the enthusiasm these students have shown in contributing to such an important aspect of our democratic process.”A special thanks to all participants, judges, and supporters who made this contest a success. We look forward to more opportunities to celebrate and support local artists in the future.
