County government offices to close Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans D

In observance of Veterans Day, Los Alamos County government offices and services will join other federal, state, and local governments and close on Monday, Nov. 11, 2024. 
The County’s administrative offices, Atomic City Transit fixed bus routes, and the Environmental Services division are closed on Monday. In addition, the following facilities will have modified hours:

 

  • White Rock and Mesa libraries  - Open from 1 – 5 p.m.
  • Aquatic Center and Leisure Lagoon - Closed
  • Golf Course  - Closed
  • Environmental Services commercial/residential refuse/recycle services will resume on Tuesday, Nov. 12. If the observed date falls on your normal trash day, place your materials out on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
  • Atomic City Transit – Regular scheduled bus service will not operate. No Dial-a-Ride services will be available. Regular service will resume on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
