Delayed Open For CSD Facilities
Published on November 06, 2024
Due to inclement weather conditions, Los Alamos Acting County Manager Linda Matteson has ordered a 10 a.m. delayed opening for all non-essential County government services and facilities on Thursday, November 7, 2024. This includes all Community Services Department facilities, which will open at 10 a.m. to ensure the safety of the public and staff.
All activities and programs scheduled before 10 a.m. are canceled for the day. This includes all morning classes, swim lessons, and other activities at the Aquatic Center. After 10 a.m., once facilities are open, all programs and events will continue as regularly scheduled, provided the weather does not worsen.
Facilities affected by the delayed opening include:
• Aquatic Center
• Mesa Public Library and White Rock Branch Library
• Los Alamos Golf Course
• Betty Ehart Senior Center and White Rock Senior Center
• Social Services Division
