The beloved and iconic annual Halloween celebration in Los Alamos—Halloweekend—returns October 25–27. The lively three-day celebration encapsulates the small-town charm and community-minded spirit of Los Alamos through a variety of events, including trick-or-treating, interactive games, pumpkin carving, STEM activities, and much more.

Events kick off on Friday, October 25, with two opportunities to trick-or-treat. From 4–6 p.m., head down to Central Avenue for Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet hosted by Los Alamos MainStreet and Creative District. Streets will be closed to traffic to allow families to visit local businesses who will be handing out candy. Plus, 15th Street will have County snowplows on display for kids and parents alike to explore.

Following trick-or-treating on Friday, teens can head to the Los Alamos Teen Center for a Halloween Carnival, running from 7–10 p.m. with music, games, and Halloween treats. The event is free and open to high school-aged teenagers.
