Housing Choice Voucher Program services adjusted in Los Alamos

Los Alamos County’s Social Services office has been notified that the Santa Fe Civic Housing Authority – Española Office will continue providing services to Los Alamos residents through the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program; however, monthly in-person visits in Los Alamos have been canceled until further notice.

Through its partnership with Los Alamos County, the Espanola office assists local residents with the Housing Choice Voucher Program, commonly known as Section 8. Previously, a staff member from the Española office scheduled monthly visits to Los Alamos to help individuals with applications and answer program-related questions. While these in-person visits are no longer available, Los Alamos residents can still receive assistance by contacting the Española office directly.

Individuals seeking to apply for the Housing Choice Voucher Program may visit the Santa Fe Civic Housing Authority - Española Office, located at 136 Calle De Pajarito, or call (505) 930-5901 for assistance.
