His charismatic approach and ability to build strong community relationships have had a lasting impact on the department and the community we serve.

Chief of Police Dino Sgambellone expressed confidence in the new Deputy Chief, stating, “Deputy Chief Rodriguez has consistently exemplified the values and standards of our department. His leadership, experience, and vision will undoubtedly contribute to our ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and security of our community.”

Deputy Chief Rodriguez holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of New Mexico and has completed thousands of hours of advanced training. His comprehensive understanding of modern policing strategies and community engagement will be invaluable in his new role.
