Los Alamos, New Mexico—Are you looking forward to the next parade in Los Alamos and do you want to participate this year? Los Alamos County Recreation Division is organizing the 2024 Los Alamos County Fair and Rodeo Parade and we would love for you to join in on the fun! We invite you to join Los Alamos County and other partnering organizations on August 3rd to be in the parade!

This hometown parade is a highlight of Los Alamos County's Fair and Rodeo weekend. The parade brings locals and visitors to downtown Los Alamos to celebrate the western roots of the community. This event is organized by the Los Alamos County Recreation Division, in partnership with local businesses and organizations.

The 2024 parade theme is: Roping the Dream

Although there is no limit to how long your entry can be, the height has to be low enough to fit under the stop lights on Central Avenue. All floats with combustibles (other than the vehicle's engine) will need Fire Department approval. Registration for the parade begins May 15th, via Eventbrite, and registration is FREE, no matter what kind of entry you have.
