Reminder: East Park and North Mesa Court Renovations Start March 5

The IFB25-36 East Park Basketball Court and North Mesa Tennis Courts Renovation Project is set to begin today, March 5th as the first phase of this exciting upgrade. LA Landscaping and More will lead the renovations at both sites, which include the demolition and construction of a new basketball court at East Park and the demolition and construction of tennis and pickleball courts at North Mesa Park, with an estimated completion date of September 30, 2025.

This project scope will involve the demolition of the existing courts, fencing, and related structures, followed by the installation of new courts on post-tension concrete slabs, and fencing with minor parking lot upgrades. New chain-link fencing will be installed at both locations, and a new asphalt parking area will be built at North Mesa Park.

Additionally, ADA-compliant parking will be added at East Park. Both projects are supported by the Council Strategic Objective of Infrastructure Asset Management, the CSD Integrated Master Plan, and ADA Audit and Transition Plan. Please note the site plans indicating the areas closed to the public during the project construction. Most park amenities will remain open for park users at both locations during the renovation project.
