UPDATE: 2024/07/19 @ 3 p.m.:  All services have been restored.

While no Los Alamos County security software systems have been breached, some county services are currently down due to the global CrowdStrike outage. The two County websites https://losalamosnm.us and https://visitlosalamos.gov are back online, however, the Community Development Department's Energov platform is down, rendering staff unable to process building permits, business licenses, accept payments, schedule inspections, or look up information. The CDD staff clarified that this is true for the online customer service portal and their personnel.

The Traffic and Streets Division is also impacted and unable to process traffic permits at this time. However, the Department of Public Utilities remains unaffected. Individuals wishing to make utility payments can access the Paymentus website at https://ladpu.com/paymentus or call the Customer Care Center at 505-662-8333 for assistance.

Furthermore, the Los Alamos County RecTrac platform for reserving facilities is unaffected and can be accessed at https://web2.myvscloud.com/wbwsc/nmlosalamoswt.wsc/. All other county services appear to be operating normally.

Residents wishing to inquire about other county services can call the Customer Care Center at 505-662-8333 to be transferred to the appropriate department or division.
