Swim Lessons!

You may have heard a rumor about swim lessons at the Aquatic Center. Well, Los Alamos County Recreation Division confirms that this rumor is true!

Los Alamos County Aquatic Center is happy to announce that swim lessons are being offered by two contractors, 505 Swimming, from Santa Fe, and Anna Zhang, from Los Alamos. Both contractors will be providing group and individual lessons for various ages and skill levels.

505 Swimming LLC was created in 2022 in Santa Fe with the mission of increasing the availability of life-saving swim instruction in our community. Their team is composed of instructors who have a passion and demonstrated talent for working with children and are certified as swim instructors through either the Red Cross or Swim Lessons University, in addition to being certified in CPR or lifeguarding through the Red Cross. 505 Swimming’s schedule is currently built out to the end of March, offering private and various group lessons on the below days. Additional schedule details and times past March will be posted as that information becomes available.

  • Tuesdays, 4:00 – 6:30pm
  • Thursdays, 5:30 – 6:30pm
  • Fridays, 4:00 – 6:30pm
  • Saturdays, 9:00 – 11:30am

Anna Zhang is a local, certified USA Swim Coach and has been providing swim lessons at the Aquatic Center for many years. She enjoys teaching young students to swim, from elementary age to high school. Anna’s schedule is currently built out until mid-March, currently offering private lessons on Wednesdays from 11am – 3pm. Additional schedule details and times past March will be posted as that information becomes available.
