Volunteer Cleanup Day at Guaje Pines Cemetery

The Parks and Open Space Division is inviting community members to participate in a Cemetery Cleanup Day on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Guaje Pines Cemetery. Community members can REGISTER for this event as it offers a wonderful opportunity for individuals, families, and veterans to honor their loved ones while helping to maintain the cemetery grounds. Volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks, including cleaning the grounds, removing weeds and vegetation, clearing pine needles, basic pruning, and removing old flowers.

What to Bring:

• Rakes, shovels, hand pruners, and gloves are recommended.

• Please wear long sleeves and a hat for sun protection.

This community service day is a great way to come together and give back to those who have come before us, and to help preserve the resting place of our loved ones and veterans.

Volunteers should check in upon arrival at the flagpole in the cemetery. Water and snacks will be provided for all volunteers.
