Utility Payment Options

Visit the Paymentus website (our bill payment vendor) to enter a credit card, debit card or e-check to pay your utilities bill online. You will be prompted to enter your DPU Customer ID and Account numbers which can be found on your utility bill.

Call Paymentus at (866) 417-0694 to pay your utilities bill over the phone. You will be prompted to enter your DPU Customer ID and Account numbers which can be found on the upper right corner of your utility bill.

Simplify your life and sign up for automatic payments. The Department of Public Utilities will draft payments 20 days after your utility bill is issued from your bank, savings & loan or credit union.  

Download and complete the Automatic Payment Plan Authorization Form(PDF, 147KB) , attach a voided check and return it to the Customer Care Center.

You may pay your utilities bill in person at the Customer Care Center or at one of our two drop boxes, also located at the:

1. Customer Care Center (located in the lobby) is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
2. Drop box located across the hall from the Customer Care Center, Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
3. Drop box located in the parking lot. Available 24/7.  Customer Care staff retrieves payments every business day at 5 p.m.
